Fan adds a feature to Marvel's Spider-Man 2 that Insomniac should have included long ago
Marvel's Spider-Man 2 received a modification Rage Settings, introducing changes that fans believe should become part of the series.

The PC port of Marvel's Spider-Man 2 doesn't officially mods. However, already with the first installment, players figured out how to modify the title of Insomniac Games studio, so in the case of the sequel, noteworthy fan projects have been appearing since the release.
The latest one worth paying attention to is Rage Settings. It allows you to configure various aspects of the Symbiote Surge ability. The mod offers the following options:
- choice of any costume for this ability;
- a quick transformation, allowing to skip the long introductory animation of Fury and thus enabling smooth transitions between its states;
- the Toggle Rage function, which allows for switching of Surge mode during combat or exploration (thanks to it, we can have fun as in the classic Spider-Man: Web of Shadows from 2008);
- turning off immortality in Surge mode and thus introducing the desired risk to the fight.
For those not familiar with Marvel's Spider-Man 2 and Spider-Man: Web of Shadows, these changes might appear minor, but in reality they make a big difference. The best way to show this is a video presenting the capabilities of this modification:
In the comments under this material, several players state that such a feature should have been available in the game from the beginning, and they hope that Insomniac Studio will offer something similar in Marvel's Spider-Man 3.
You can Rage Settings from NexusMods. For the game, you will also need the ModSettings project by the same author, which allows modders to add custom, fully interactive menus to Marvel's Spider-Man 2.
