October launch of announced numerous changes in all key aspects.

Many of these will be introduced in the patch 1.2, called UX Improvements. You can already check some of them out by ing the beta version of the update. You'll do so by RMB-clicking on the game on Steam and selecting the "Properties" tab, then "Beta." The changes include:

  • improved trade routes ;
  • adding the ability to change the way notifications are displayed;
  • reducing by about 50% the number of messages shown that do not directly affect the player at the moment;
  • implementation of a new system of keyboard shortcuts;
  • reworking the population preview to present more detailed information about the inhabitants of our country;
  • addition of three new map display modes (taking into literacy, population and infamy level);
  • changing the way convoy statistics are displayed - they will now be visible on the top bar, making them much easier to track;
  • expanding the diplomacy system to include, among other things, all types of ploys (rather than just those that can currently be used), making it possible to see what requirements have not been met;
  • enrichment of the information displayed before a battle.

These, of course, are not all the improvements that will be made. You can read the full list here. The update will probably will be available in the actual game on March 13.

It didn't take long for the community to react. Fans praised the overall direction of the changes and the attitude of the developer, appreciating both small and large improvements.
