Game mechanics

In Asteroids: Recharged we take control over a space fighter presented in a top-down view. In each arena, through which we move freely, our task is to eliminate everything that comes across our barrel; starting with the title asteroids and ending with extraterrestrial flying saucers. We have to maneuver the ship in such a way as to avoid enemy fire and dodge enemy ships or interplanetary debris.

While our ship is equipped with a simple cannon, on the battlefield there are various power-ups that increase our combat potential. We are talking about such upgrades as electromagnetic cannon, black hole launcher or energy shield for our fighter.

Game modes

In Asteroids: Recharged you can play solo or in local co-op mode. A substitute for online competition is provided by global rankings.

Technical aspects

Graphics in Asteroids: Recharged features elements that bring to mind the original game ( such as our triangular fighter jet or the simple, vector-inspired design of asteroids and enemy ships) as well as much more modern components, with colorful backgrounds and a variety of particle effects. In this game, we can listen to a dynamic soundtrack composed by Megan McDuffee.
