The main character of the game is Bugs Bunny, who one day during his journey to the Pismo beach gets lost in the maze of streets of Albuquerque. After finding a strange machine, he takes it as a carrot juice vending machine. Unfortunately, the device turns out to be a time machine. Bugs is thrown into a mysterious dimension beyond history, where he meets a sorcerer named Merlin Munroe, who tells him that in order to return home, he will have to travel in five different eras, in search of clock hands needed to return to his own time.
Bugs Bunny: Lost in Time, released on PC and PS1, is a classic 3D platform. The action is watched from a camera behind the hero's back, and the game is about exploring 3D maps, avoiding obstacles and fighting enemies.
Bugs Bunny can perform various movements. He can jump, kick, roll and climb a rope. In addition, when jumping from great heights, he can use his large ears as propellers to descend slowly. The fights are quite developed for the standards of this genre. Some enemies can be defeated by kicking them or jumping on their heads. Others need to be tired first by letting them chase us through the level. When they finally stop to catch their breath, we can attack them from behind.
The game also allows you to sneak in order to avoid confrontation with some enemies. The game also features logical elements in the form of simple puzzles requiring moving objects on maps. In addition, during the campaign, Bugs slowly gains a variety of useful special skills.
The graphics in Bugs Bunny: Lost in Time are in full 3D but they resemble the graphic style of Looney Tunes cartoons. Also, the majority of the characters were dubbed by the same actors who voiced them in the animations.
