Convallaria is an online third-person action shooter developed by the Chinese studio Loong Force, with Xu Min as the project leader. The studio was founded in 2016, its core made up of representatives of other prestigious dev teams. The game was developed as part of PlayStation's "China Hero Project" initiative, and was published by Sony Interactive Entertainment.

Plot

The game takes place in a colorful, futuristic land with fantasy elements. The player character finds themselves in this world as an amnesiac, with no idea as to where their journey might lead. Though their disappointment seems to have no end, it's cut short by the rallying sound of a war horn. The protagonist battles their way through this vast land, trying to their long-forgotten past.

Mechanics

Convallaria is a fast-paced shooter with emphasis on teamwork and tactical thinking. The player traverses the game's large open world along with their allies, facing numerous challenges, securing resources and battling formidable opponents. Each member of the team has access to a wide range of firearms, including Laser Rifles or Plasma Launchers.

Game modes

The game was developed with multiplayer in mind. Players can face each other in PvP modes (Player vs Player) or forces to battle powerful bosses in PvE (Player vs Environment). To satisfy more demanding consumers, the game s battles up to a hundred players at once, competing against each other during missions and securing resources necessary to survive in Convallaria's hostile world.
