Dragon Ball Z: Shin Budokai is a fight from Dimps, based on the popularity of the Japanese anime created by Akira Toriyama. The title is the first production for PSP, introducing us to the universe of Dragon Balls.

As befits a real murder, there are 18 warriors to choose from in the game, known from the TV screen. These are positive heroes, such as Son Goku, Vegeta or Trunks, as well as slightly less friendly characters, such as the terrific Janemba. This man is also the perpetrator of all the evil that we have to face in Dragon Road mode. "The Dragon's Path" is based on the feature film Fusion Reborn.

Among the other six options of playing, they stand out the most: Arcade Mode, where we fight single enemies controlled by Artificial Intelligence; Survival, where our task is to survive a skirmish with several enemies at once; and Time Attack, calling on us to deal with the forces of darkness in the shortest possible time. Regardless of the selected mode, after a while we move to the cartoon arenas (Earth, Budokai stadium, Namek planet, etc.). There we demonstrate to the adversaries combinations of blows and treat them with cosmic energy attacks. It is worth noting that our warriors can transform into stronger warriors (e.g. Super Saiyan or Kaio-ken) after filling up the appropriate indicator, which differ in the style of the battle in the new Saiyan Overdrive system.
