Metroid Prime 4 is yet another installment in the bestselling action series owned by Nintendo. The game was released on SWITCH and is a natural extension of the ideas featured in previous parts of the series.
Plot
The main character in Metroid Prime 4 is Samus Aran – an interstellar bounty huntress who fights against Space Pirates. After the events of the previous game, the protagonist becomes entangled in yet another intrigue, which forces her to embark on another dangerous journey.
Mechanics
Metroid Prime 4 for SWITCH features first person perspective (FPP). Gameplay is based on the series’ classic formula – as you play you go through extensive, nonlinear levels and fight opponents encountered on the way.
The heroine has not only got a diverse arsenal of the so-called Beams (guns shooting with beams of energy), but also a wide array of skills. Among them is the ability of turning herself into a Morph Ball, so that she can get into inaccessible places like tunnels and small holes in walls.
Technical issues
Debuting on the new platform allowed Metroid Prime 4 to spread its wings – the game looks much better than its predecessors that were released on older Nintendo consoles.
