A racing car simulator, offered in a free-to-play model and developed in cooperation between Polish Teyon and German Competition Company. Rennsport focuses primarily on online multiplayer and participating in e-sport competitions. The game runs on Unreal Engine 5 and it features a lot of real racing cars and tracks.
Rennsport is a realistic racing simulator offered a free-to-play model, focused on multiplayer and e-sports competitions. Two teams are behind its creation: the Polish Teyon and the German Competition Company (the former initiated the work in 2021, and the latter ed after several months as a co-developer and publisher). A wide range of experts from various fields related to sim racing and motorsports also helped in the production.
The creators of Rennsport strived to realistically convey the specifics of driving a race car and participating in track racing. This means that controlling the machine requires skill, and the rules are the same as in reality (it means that actions such as pushing rivals with impunity or cutting corners are forbidden).
The game focuses on races featuring modern cars from classes such as GT3, GT4 or Hypercar on well-known tracks (e.g. Spa, Monza, Hockenheimring). There are also other vehicles and tracks, such as the concept model Porsche Mission R and the iconic hill climb section in Goodwood.
Rennsport was primarily created for multiplayer competition within professional e-sports tournaments. However, there is also the possibility of taking a test drive alone.
Rennsport was created based on Unreal Engine 5 technology. Thanks to this, in of graphics quality, it ranks among the top in realistic racing simulators. Additionally, the creators have ensured extensive for mods.
