Tempest Rising is an RTS inspired by the giants of the genre, especially by the Rad Rodgers), while its release was handled by THQ Nordic and 3D Realms companies.

Gameplay

In Tempest Rising the action is viewed in an isometric view. The game provides us with two playable factions, each with its own economy and unique set of units, as well as fighting in a different way. Battles take place on vast maps. We gather resources (primarily the titular Tempest), build and strengthen our base, and recruit units (from infantry to heavy combat vehicles) to send them into combat. We can also find neutral forces guarding valuable buildings on the map, waiting to be taken over.
