As in the previous parts, players can participate in a number of prestigious competitions taking place on the most famous golf courses in the world. Compared to the previous part, a new graphical engine was introduced and the number of licensed golfers and locations was doubled.
Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2002, released on PS2 and PC, is the next installment of the well-known and popular golf series of games from Electronic Arts.
As in the previous parts, players can participate in several prestigious competitions taking place on the most famous golf courses in the world. Compared to the 2001 version, the number of golf courses has been increased (competitions are held in such famous places as Pebble Beach Golf Links or Royal Birkdale in England), and the number of real players (fourteen real professionals). Live commentary is led by professional rapporteurs David Feherty and Bill Macatee.
