Forge of the Chaos Dwarfs is a major expansion for Total War: Warhammer III, released in February 2022. It was developed by Creative Assembly.
Total War: Warhammer III - Forge of the Chaos Dwarfs doesn't introduce a new campaign. Instead, the developers have implemented a new race - the titular Chaos Dwarfs. Alongside them, they've introduced 26 new units (including powerful siege machines), a legendary hero Gorduz Backstabber and three lords - Astragoth Ironhand, Drazhoath the Ashen, and Zhatan the Black.
Chaos Dwarves come with their own unique mechanics. They can corrupt relics and use them to construct the Great Drill they intend to use to enter the realm of godlike Hashut. This lets them acquire even more power. The race can also enslave captives and force them to work in their mines.
The expansion also introduces Hashut's Domain and a number of new spells, such as Burning Wrath and Hell Hammer.
Total War: Warhammer III - Forge of the Chaos Dwarfs is not a standalone expansion and requires the base version of the game to function.
