WRC Generations is the next rally simulator from KT Racing studio and Nacon after WRC 10. It introduces hybrid cars and offers tracks in 22 countries (including a revamped Sweden and 12 other locations for the 2022 season) and 37 historic vehicles.
WRC Generations is the next installment in the series of licensed rally games, after WRC 10, and at the same time the last one behind the KT Racing studio and Nacon (after the license was acquired by Codemasters in 2020).
The series from the KT Racing studio is a simcade - somewhere between an uncompromisingly realistic rally simulation and enjoyable gaming for a wide audience. WRC Generations, however, takes another twist in the former direction, offering a variety of changes to the driving model.
The game includes all the rallies (in 13 countries), teams and cars scheduled for the real 2022 WRC season. This also includes the new feature - hybrid cars (i.e. equipped with both internal combustion and electric motors), belonging to the Rally1 class and represented by three models: Ford Puma, Toyota GR Yaris and Hyundai i20.
In addition to the "current" attractions, WRC Generations also offers additional content. This includes special stages located in a total of 22 countries, including Sweden, which has undergone a complete makeover from previous installments in the series. There are also 37 historic and "bonus" cars.
The core of the game is an extensive career mode, in which we one of the existing teams or start our own and strive to reach the WRC championship, gradually climbing and competing in cars belonging to increasingly prestigious classes. Apart from driving, we also manage the team: hire personnel, develop technology, etc.
In addition, there are various multiplayer modes, such as ranked time trials, co-op mode (where one player takes the role of the driver and the other of the pilot) and leagues. Those are new to WRC Generations.

Game Ratings for WRC Generations Video Game.
Multiplayer First: 8 / 10 by Paulmichael Contreras
WRC Generations is a nice ride into the sunset as the WRC license transitions to Codemasters. As with most retirements, this one isn’t perfect. The campaign is cookie-cutter, and the presentation is still quite lacking. But the racing, the pure, unadulterated speed and brutality of rally racing, remains. That may be Kylotonn’s legacy for this series, that of making an uncompromising simulator which makes you earn a spot on the podium. At this last venture, WRC Generations deserves its own spot up there as well.
Nintendo Life: 5 / 10 by Chris Scullion
WRC Generations marks the end of a series that has never really hit cruising speed on Switch. Like its predecessors, its look and feel are subpar and while it has a lot of content, it's a struggle to enjoy it fully given how many compromises you have to make. After a lot of time spent with it, you'll finally start to see results, but this is a game that perhaps requires too much compromise on the player's part to appeal to anyone but the most ardent rally fans.
GameGrin: 8 / 10 by Steven John Dawson
A great rally game, with an abundance of content from the last few games under Kylotonn's licensed WRC umbrella, but may adversely suffer from being very similar in presentation to previous entries, however the sheer amount of content available should quell any of those concerns.
