Gamers criticized, but numbers prove PlayStation is right. Days Gone Remastered is one of most pre-ordered games on PS Store
Despite criticism from gamers, Days Gone Remastered was a top-10 best-selling preorder on the PS Store. Fans hope this will increase the chances of a sequel.

The announcement of Days Gone Remastered was one of the surprises of State of Play, although not necessarily a positive one. Sony's decision to refresh Deacon's adventures didn't appeal to a large part of the fans, who considered it unnecessary, and instead would prefer to see a full-fledged sequel. However, it turns out that many players quickly went to the PS Store to purchase the refreshed version.

Looks like Days Gone Remastered is in the top 10 on Best Selling pre-orders right now on the PS Store!

The people commenting on the post are rather positive and point out that this increases the chances of creating a sequel. Some indicate that many of their friends bought the remaster.
So it seems that despite criticism from players, Days Gone Remastered is selling really well. Even the fact that those who have the original from PS Plus cannot buy the update didn't stop the sales. So it's not surprising that Sony decided to release a refresh of this not-so-old game, and in this situation, there's nothing left to do but wait for the remaster of God of War from 2018.
Days Gone Remastered will be released on April 25th on PS5 and PC. The title will offer some new graphic options and additional game modes.
