The Italian publisher 505 Games has just Portal Knights universe. The production will be available in a free-to-play model, and the first demo will be released during the China Joy event, which will take place on August 2-5 this year.
According to the devs, their new title will contain concepts known from the original Portal Knights. We can expect a game set in a fantasy land built of blocks with a typical sandbox crafing / building system, known for example from Minecraft and an arcade combat system. In addition, there will of course be appropriate mechanics of MMO games. So far, nothing more is known about the production and the date of its premiere.
The original Portal Knights was released in 2017 on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch consoles and mobile devices running on Android and iOS. July 27 saw the release of another expansion for the game, adding a new class of characters and a race of elves.
