Will Blades of Fire be on Steam? „At the moment” the answer is no
Would you like to play Blades of Fire on Steam? Sadly there is no such option as of yet. However, there is a spark of hope. Check out this article if you would like to learn more.

MercurySteam has worked on a lot of iconic titles like God of War in its gameplay. Since it will be available on PC, you might wonder why it is lacking Steam page. Let’s try to find an answer to this riddle.
Blades of Fire Steam release explained
While the release of Blades of Fire is getting really close, many fans might have found out with dismay that it is nowhere to be found on Steam, which is number one launcher for many gamers. Is there any reason why the studio with such distinctive name would avoid Valve’s platform? That’s where Epic Games comes to play.
Blades of Fire is not scheduled to release on Steam at least for now, as the creators have stated in a FAQ on their webpage. For the time being, the only way to play this title on PC will be via Epic Games Store, however, it is not certain whether MercurySteam has stroke a bargain with Tim Sweeny for exclusivity, as there has been no official confirmation.
The fact that the production will start its journey on EGS, doesn’t mean that it won’t eventually make its way onto Valve’s launcher. We have seen such examples in the past, where games initially released on Epic, were later made available on Steam. Let the examples be Witchfire. If having this title in your library on Gaben’s platform is of paramount importance to you, it is possible that waiting a several months will make those dreams come true.
